Animals are, undoubtedly, some of the best creatures on Earth. Those cute, cuddly, four-legged creatures are loyal to a fault, love unconditionally and react as if they haven't seen you for years when you walk through the door every night. How could anyone not love and adore animals? Even if you don't consider yourself a pet person, it's easy to see why many have pets.

In addition to the friendship, love and joy animals bring to every household, they can also be pretty entertaining. Depending on their specific personality and temperament, animals are usually good for a healthy amount of belly laughs. How they react in particular situations will often result in you doubled over with laughter, as you struggle to catch your breath. A clip posted on YouTube shows the hilarious way one pup responded to a stationary figure.

In the video, the pup, which appears to be a miniature schnauzer, was not taking any chances when it encountered another dog. The schnauzer slowly and cautiously approached this new pup as it carefully attempted to get a smell of the animal. The only problem was that this second pup was not a dog at all. Instead, the schnauzer was spooked by a statue that looked like a dog.

After getting close enough to sniff the tiny, still and motionless pup, the schnauzer quickly backs away, keeping an eye on the statue the whole time. The pup in the video is apparently aware of the popular saying that looks can be deceiving, so it had decided to exercise extreme caution regardless.
