Comedian’s Hilarious Hospital Story Will Have You Laughing Out Loud
This comedian’s hilarious hospital story will have you laughing out loud. The funnyman, Chad Thornsberry, used his frightening and expensive experience with the American healthcare system to great comedic effect, incorporating it into his stand-up routine. Watch the short but hysterical clip to hear about Chad’s hospital experience that will have you doubled over with laughter and struggling to catch your breath.
Without a doubt, one of the most frightening and distressing things anyone can experience is visiting the hospital. Now, of course, I’m not simply talking about going to see someone else in the hospital; it’s when we are the individual in need of medical attention. Even thinking of needing to be wheeled into one of those medical facilities is enough to cause some people to break out into hives.
Despite how much we might hate and dread going to the hospital, it is sometimes absolutely necessary. Those doctors and nurses are trained in and equipped with the knowledge and understanding of how the human body functions. So, it’s always a good idea to seek medical attention when something seems dramatically wrong or off.
In a clip posted on YouTube, Chad explains that he was entering the hospital for a procedure, but, as he hilariously recounts, his troubles began before he even entered the facility. Once he did get into the hospital, his fears and anxiety did not subside much. If anything, they increased considerably, especially when the doctor made an unusual marking on him.
He was flabbergasted that he had to pay to park at the hospital.
“I have to pay to park at the hospital?” he asked. “Yes. Is Billy Joel playing inside or something?”
Chad also mentioned that he was more than a little bothered by how the surgeon spoke to him ahead of the procedure. It left him a little confused and concerned.
Then, the doctor did something else that initially concerned and worried Chad. The doctor wrote “ROK” in marker on Chad’s leg.
“Doc, please tell me you’re not trying to spell the word rock,” he said.
Proverbs 17:22 “A glad heart makes a healthy body, but a crushed spirit makes the bones dry.”
