Beautiful Piano Version of ‘Sweet Child O’ Mine’

This is a beautiful piano instrumental version of the hit song “Sweet Child O’ Mine.” This cover of the classic Guns N’ Roses tune deserves to be listened to repeatedly. Watch the short but jaw-dropping clip to hear this delightful instrumental rendition of “Sweet Child O’ Mine.”

Musical covers are here to stay. Thanks to shows like American Idol, The Voice and America’s Got Talent, as well as popular social media platforms like YouTube and TikTok, covers are arguably more popular than ever. Heck, there are entire bands that are dedicated to playing just covers. It seems that anyone and everyone who can even remotely sing or play an instrument can and will cover someone else’s song.

Lauren Daigle, Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac and Simon & Garfunkel are all popular targets regarding covers. It’s likely that when searching for covers of any of those artists on YouTube, you’ll receive hundreds, maybe thousands of pages of results. It makes sense why someone would cover those bands and musicians. If you want to gain recognition for your musical talents, it’s best to play songs people know from musicians people love, and that is the case with a recent piano instrumental cover posted on YouTube.

Guns N’ Roses, a classic rock band whose heyday was in the 1980s, remains a globally recognized band, with tunes that are still beloved. Whenever people think of the Axl Rose-fronted group, “Welcome to the Jungle” or “Paradise City” likely come to mind. For others, they probably immediately start humming “Sweet Child O’ Mine” whenever Guns N’ Roses is mentioned.

The video is an excellent, dazzling display of musical talent, as the musician’s fingers dance along the keyboard, nailing each key at the precise time. It is literal music to the ears, and it won’t matter that this is an instrumental, where the words have been removed, because you’ll probably be adding the iconic lyrics yourself as you listen to and watch the clip.

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”
