Comedian Hysterically Explains Why Grandchildren Are Life’s Greatest Reward

A comedian has hysterically explained why grandchildren are life’s greatest reward. The funnyman, Jeff Allen, shared why those youngsters are the greatest blessing. Watch the short but hilarious clip to hear why Jeff believes this without a doubt.

Can you think of any greater honor than being a mother or a father? There is undoubtedly no title or position you can achieve that will ever be more important or make a greater impact. Children are truly a blessing from the Lord, bringing immense joy and happiness to every household.

However, while being a parent is wonderful, and there is nothing quite like watching your youngsters grow, not every moment is memorable. There are challenging, infuriating and even maddening moments that happen, as every parent knows all too well. That is especially true when your child reaches those much-feared and talked-about teenage years. That’s when often the best advice to parents is to hold on for dear life, because, like most other things in life, this too shall pass. They will not be 15 and 16 forever. They’ll grow up and learn eventually, right?

In a clip posted on YouTube, Jeff hilariously mentions what happens at some point in the future if parents can make it through those difficult teenage years: grandchildren.

“By the way, if you’re a young parent, everything they told you about grandchildren is true; it is,” Jeff said. “They are your reward for letting your teenagers live. Fight the urge. Let those ingrates live, and they’ll bring you a bundle of joy. They will, just give them time.”

So, all parents who may be struggling and battling daily with a teenager who has seemingly grown deaf to the sound of your voice and ignores you like it’s their job, hold on. It is always darkest before the dawn, and at some point, down the road, you might have some grandchildren in your life.

Proverbs 17:6 “Children’s children are the crown of old men, and the glory of children is their fathers.”
