One group’s dancing cat routine on America’s Got Talent is purr-fect. While dressed as felines, the performers pulled off a fun and delightful, choreographed dance number that had everyone smiling and cheering. Watch the short but awe-inspiring clip to see the dance troupe’s captivating routine.

Thousands of people try out for programs like America’s Got Talent, The Voice and American Idol every year. All those would-be contestants hope their talent will impress and compel the judges to vote them onto the show and move them to the next round of the competition. For some, that works out, but for many others, a much larger portion, that does not happen.

Those popular shows are most concerned about finding the best, most gifted and most skilled individuals. They are talent shows, after all.  But it also doesn’t hurt to surprise the judges and catch them off guard with something they have likely never seen before. As a performer, it’s always a good idea to have a little flair that will help you stick out and be memorable to your audience.

A clip posted on YouTube shows one act that the four judges on America’s Got Talent will surely not forget for quite some time. The handful of dancers made their way out onto the stage dressed as cats and proceeded to put on a show-stopping, completely captivating performance. Everyone in the audience, including the judges, was cheering and smiling, having a good time. 

Even if you didn’t think their routine was that great, you likely still couldn’t take your eyes off what was happening on the stage.

If nothing else, the group’s act was utterly unique and different. They took a chance and didn’t just come out on the stage and give yet another mediocre performance while singing a beloved, well-known tune. They at least get points for being unusual, right?
