The Heritage’s Moving ‘God Be Praised’ Live Performance
The Heritage turned in a moving live performance of “God Be Praised.” The talented musicians sang their tune about praising and worshiping the Lord, regardless of any miracles he might or might not perform in our lives. Watch the short but powerful clip to hear The Heritage perform “God Be Praised.”
None of us would have a chance without God’s love, mercy and grace. We’d still be lost and living in sin and shame if Christ had not willingly gone to the cross and suffered and died on our behalf. He gave us hope, a future and the opportunity for everlasting life with Him. He deserves our endless praise and worship for that ultimate act of love.
While Christ has defeated sin and death and freely provides forgiveness and love for all who call upon His name, we still constantly call upon Him and ask for His help and guidance, as the Bible says we should. However, even if He were to not do anything else for us, His dying on the cross and taking our place is more than enough for a bunch of sinners. That was more than we deserved, and He should be honored and glorified.
That is precisely what The Heritage sings about in their tune “God Be Praised.” God sending His Son to die to bridge the gap, the rupture that sin caused, is worthy of all glory, honor and praise.
“There is more to You than miracles
Though You do amazing things
You don’t have to make the mountains move
To deserve the highest praise”
Nothing else could ever top Christ giving himself up for us while we were still sinners because it forever changed everything for humanity. We didn’t deserve that, and there is no possible way we deserve more of His love and blessings, yet He continues to touch and impact our lives in endless ways.
Hebrews 13:15 “Through him let us offer up a sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of lips which make confession to his name.”
