Some beloved animated characters are set to make their return in “Zootopia 2.” The film’s characters, many of whom are fan favorites, will be back on the big screen fairly soon. Watch the short clip to see when moviegoers can expect to see the Zootopia gang back in theaters in their latest film.

Where would Hollywood be without the sequel? The number of films that find their way into theaters would be significantly less; that is undoubtedly true. If not for sequels, AMC, Regal and Cinemark theaters would be nothing more than half-empty places where Marvel movies are played on an endless loop.

Sequels have always been a popular go-to for Hollywood, and if audiences keep turning out for them and continue to shell out good, hard-earned cash, why not? Hollywood will only keep making what people pay to see. But within the last several years, Hollywood has taken their sequel game up a level, producing follow-ups to films that are decades old (“Betelgeuse,” “Top Gun” and “Mad Max”).  

Nearly a decade after “Zootopia” hit theaters, Nick, Judy and the rest of the gang are back for “Zootopia 2.” In a clip posted on YouTube, fans get a quick look at the long-awaited sequel from Walt Disney. While none of the characters utter a word in the nearly minute-and-a-half clip, the visuals make it clear that Nick and Judy will surely get into more hijinks and unpredictable, laugh-out-loud situations.

The brief video does not provide any details about the story of the upcoming animated film. However, right before the clip concludes, viewers are informed that “Zootopia 2” and its cute, animated cast of characters will be hopping into theaters in November 2025.
