She Starred in Both, But Can She Pass the Quiz? Patricia Heaton Faces ‘Raymond’ vs. ‘The Middle’ Test

She starred in both, but can she pass the quiz? Patricia Heaton faces “The Everybody Loves Raymond" vs “The Middle” test. Watch the short but hysterical clip to see what the actress remembers and doesn’t about her two iconic programs.

It’s the dream of most actors and actresses to have one memorable role in their career. Unfortunately, the entertainment business is a highly competitive, cutthroat industry, and those roles aren’t just handed out like candy. It can take years of working in television and movies to appear in a moderately well-made program. Many aren’t even that lucky.

Patricia Heaton is one of the few actresses who has defied the odds. She was a main character in not one but two truly iconic and beloved television shows: “Everybody Loves Raymond” and “The Middle.” Of course, in “Everybody Loves Raymond,” Patricia played Debra Barone – the long-suffering wife locked in a constant, never-ending battle with her mother-in-law. On “The Middle,” Patricia is Frankie Heck, the matriarch of the Heck family, who is always scrambling, scratching and clawing to make it through another day.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Patricia is asked a series of questions about both shows to find out how much she remembers about them. You may also recognize the two individuals asking the questions. Eden Sher and Brock Ciarelli both appeared on “The Middle.” Eden played the middle child and eternal optimist, Sue Heck, while Brock played Sue’s best friend, Brad.

Patricia is seated as Eden and Brock stand behind her and describe random episodes. Based on those detailed descriptions, they then ask the actress whether she believes it was an “Everybody Loves Raymond” or a “The Middle” episode. Things start off well, but it goes downhill quickly.

Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”
