A delivery driver had a sweet surprise for three kids running a lemonade stand, and his kindness warms hearts. It was an unexpected move and one that those children will surely remember well into the future. Kindness and generosity are in short supply today. Turn on the evening news or log into Instagram, Facebook or any other popular social media platform, and you’ll soon discover this to be true. Many people seem able to inflict an incredible amount of hurt and pain on one another.
 
Yes, it seems that cruelty, brutality and apathy often reign supreme in society. Who cares what happens to someone else as long as I get mine, right?  However, that is not always correct. There are still kind, caring and loving people in the world. A clip posted on social media shows this is very much the case.
 
In the video, the delivery driver, who appears to work for UPS, exits his truck and walks up to a lemonade stand being run by three young ladies. Like every child who has ever operated a lemonade business, they are simply trying to quench their customers' thirst while also making a little bit of money in the process. However, the deliveryman is a bit surprised after asking about the going rate for a cup of their lemonade.
 
“Fifty cents, but you can have it for free,” one of the young ladies responds to the driver’s inquiry.
 
“What?” the man says, flabbergasted at the response.
 
He then proceeds to try their lemonade, commenting that their drink is delicious. But he does not simply get in his truck and drive away. Instead, he surprises each of them with a rather large tip, giving each girl $20.
 
What a wonderfully kind and unexpected gesture! Those three young ladies will likely remember that man’s kindness for years.
