‘Gratitude’ Gets a Beautiful Family Touch in This Cover by the Crosbys

This cover by the Crosbys gives "Gratitude" a beautiful family touch. The musically talented family turned in a lovely and utterly enjoyable performance of the Brandon Lake classic. Watch the short but awe-inspiring clip to see and hear this family perform "Gratitude."

Where would we be without Christ? That's a scary and truly frightening thought. The truth is that without Him, we'd still be lost, living in sin and shame. We would also be facing an eternity lost and forever separated from Him. Instead, Christ, because of His tremendous and inexplicable love for us, we can be forgiven and have a future.

So, how do you adequately thank someone for literally giving up Himself so that we could have a chance at life? What is the best way to express and show gratitude for what Christ did on the cross for you and me?  How do you thank someone for giving you everything? Whatever we come up with will be entirely lacking and never enough.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Dave and Ashley Crosby and their four children perform "Gratitude." The lyrics to that beloved song are precisely about that: whatever we do or say, our praise and worship will always come up short. We will never be able to thank God enough for what He has done for us. So, all we really have to offer Him is our praise, and that's exactly what we will continue doing.

"So, I throw up my hands
And praise You again and again
'Cause all that I have is a hallelujah
Hallelujah"

This cover is a sweet, heartwarming, delightful family effort you'll want to listen to and watch repeatedly. Dad plays the drums, and Mom tickles the keys on the piano while their three daughters provide the vocals.

Colossians 3:16 "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord."
