Woman Wasn’t a Cat Person Until She Met This Cat

One woman was not a cat person until she met this cat, Leonard. This feline changed her entire outlook and feelings about those cute, furry, four-legged creatures. Watch this short but tear-jerking clip to hear the heartwarming story about how one cat completely changed how one family feels about and looks at cats.

Animals are fantastic creatures. They are loyal, dependable to a fault and love unconditionally. All they ask in return is a few belly scratches and a delicious treat now and then. Even people who don’t currently have pets still possess a soft spot in their hearts for those critters. How could you not love and adore them?

However, people typically divide themselves into one of two camps regarding domesticated animals. Most individuals will comment on their preference for one over the other, stating they are either a dog person or a cat person. While this might sound like a simple, mundane statement, it is often very serious, and getting a self-identified dog person to take in a cat or vice versa can be challenging. But, as a sweet clip posted on YouTube shows, it’s not impossible.

In the clip, Michelle, the woman who narrates the video, explains how Leonard completely changed her and her family’s lives. She states that she and her husband have always been dog people and never had a cat as a pet.

However, Leonard spent some time at Michelle’s house as her daughter moved. Michelle and that adorable black cat developed the sweetest bond. She confesses that Leonard demonstrated a surprisingly high level of intelligence. The cat quickly picked up the correct way to play pool, using the white ball to put the others in the pockets.

When Michelle’s daughter returned to take Leonard back home, it was too late. Leonard had found his way into Michelle’s heart and became a permanent household member. He wasn’t going anywhere.

Genesis 1:21 “And God created great whales, and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.”
