How Should Christians Respond to Pride Month?

📖 Ephesians 4:15 (NIV)
“Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.”

Every June, Pride Month raises questions for Christians:
How do we respond in a way that’s faithful to God’s Word—but still reflects His heart?
Should we speak up? Stay quiet? Engage culture—or separate from it?

In this reflective devotional, we explore how to respond to Pride Month as Christians with both biblical conviction and Christlike compassion—never compromising truth, and never withholding grace.

Lord,
In a world of shifting values and loud opinions, help me anchor my response in You.
As Pride Month unfolds around me, give me wisdom to respond as a Christian—with truth, yes, but also with humility, patience, and love.

Let me never weaponize Your Word, but also never water it down.
Help me see people as You do—not as issues or labels, but as souls made in Your image.
Guard my heart from fear, pride, or silence born of convenience.

Empower me to speak the truth in love—not just with my words, but with my life.
And remind me that conviction without compassion becomes cold religion,
but compassion without truth becomes empty sentiment.

Make me bold, gentle, faithful, and gracious—like Jesus.
In Your holy name,
Amen.
