Family’s Beautiful Rendition of ‘Give Thanks’ Will Lift Your Spirit

What a powerful moment of worship in this intimate family living room! Watching this family’s beautiful rendition of ‘Give Thanks’ will lift your spirit.

There is a precious father and mother, two daughters, and a boyfriend sitting on a couch in a moment of a acapella worship. Megan Tibbits is the precious young woman on the right of the couch. She is a famous harpist and singer/songwriter.

Her family posted this video during their special time together over the holidays. The five different voices, each with its own harmonies, will wow you from the low bass to the upper harmonies. This group could go on the road together.

If you are trying to cultivate more gratitude in your life today, this is your opportunity to sing along. Our worship can be an act of gratitude and a reminder that God has given us so many blessings, and we can respond to Him in praise with our whole lives.

As you watch this family, you will see a beautiful group of believers celebrating our great Savior. You will witness joy and happiness on their faces as they sit snuggled up on the couch, singing as a team.

The chorus says:

And now let the weak say I am strong
Let the poor say I am rich
Because of what the Lord has done for us

God tells us to give thanks. David wrote many Psalms of thanksgiving. May this song spur on your gratitude today and remind you of the sweet gifts from Jesus.

He has given us life and the opportunity of eternal life in Jesus. There is always something to be thankful for in Christ.

“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever. Has the Lord redeemed you? Then speak out! Tell others he has redeemed you from your enemies." Psalm 107:1-2

A Prayer for the One Who Is Afraid of God’s Glory and Power - Your Daily Prayer - June 11

We should revere the Lord, as He is more magnificent than we can imagine. Yet, if we treat Him like a thunderstorm, rolling through in power to wreak havoc wherever and whenever He pleases, then we forget that He is a good God.
