A police officer pulled over his wife for the sweetest, most heartwarming reason. Her surprise was evident by the look on her face throughout the unexpected encounter. Watch the short, hilarious and adorable video to hear why the officer needed to pull his wife over.

One of the worst sights in the world is to look in your rearview mirror and see those flashing blue and red lights. It only worsens when you realize the lights in your mirror are for you. Somehow, all at the same time, you get a horrible, sinking feeling in your stomach, and adrenaline begins coursing through your veins at a rapid rate. Anyone who has ever been pulled over understands precisely what I’m talking about and knows that feeling all too well.

You only get more tense and uneasy as you silently and patiently wait for the officer to approach your driver’s side window. At that moment, after time spent anxiously waiting, you learn what you did to have an officer respond to you, pulling you over to the side of the road.

In a clip posted on social media, this was exactly what one woman went through until she learned that the officer who pulled over was her husband. She then learned that he had her pull to the side of the road for one reason: She forgot and left without kissing him that morning.

After she learns the sweet reason for the traffic stop, she begins laughing, and her hands come off the steering wheel. But her husband hilariously reminds her to “keep your hands on the steering wheel.”

Finally, the police officer offers his wife a deal.

“Now, you wanna give me a kiss, or you want a citation? Your choice. Look, I got all day,” he says.

At the end of the video, the officer finally gets a kiss from his wife and does not have to give her a ticket.
