Birthdays, at least for children, are important milestones. That’s a fact that they will not let you forget either. Children will begin reminding you months before the annual day. It doesn’t matter how old they are turning. Their birthday is a big, big deal. Next to Christmas, their birthday is the next most incredible day of the year.

So, when they tell you their birthday is coming up, even if it’s not for another six months, you better respond with an equal amount of excitement and optimism. When they tell you their birthday is coming up, it’s also best to grab a pen and paper because they are likely to hit you with a laundry list of things they want. Always remember that to children, their birthdays are massive, life-changing events.

A clip posted on YouTube shows that Anne seems to understand the importance of birthdays for children. The clip begins with a quick shot of a child sitting in the stands, holding a sign informing others that it’s her birthday. Well, her sign did what it was intended to do: it caught Anne’s attention.

Later in the clip, Anne, while on stage, said that she spotted the child and her sign and had her team reach out to the little girl and bring her on stage. Next, the child, Hazlyn, gets a birthday surprise that she will not soon forget.

Anne and the entire crowd sang “Happy Birthday” to her.

But that was not all.

Anne and the child shared two hugs, and she signed the child’s poster. That is a moment and an interaction the little girl will remember for the rest of her life!
