TobyMac on Nike-Adidas Fashion Blunder and His Pick for Worst Song He's Written

TobyMac shared his thoughts on a Nike-Adidas fashion blunder and named what he believed is the worst song he’s ever written. The popular and immensely talented Christian music artist quickly answered a series of questions, giving his opinion on various topics. Watch the short video to see and hear what he had to say.

Musicians are talented people. The good Lord has blessed them with the ability to create beautiful, ear-pleasing sounds. Their skill on an instrument, ability to write catchy lyrics and even their stunning voice are all gifts bestowed upon them by God. Yes, their talent causes many people to look up to and admire them, but ultimately, they are still just people.

Just like the rest of us, musicians have weird habits, quirks and perhaps even some divisive opinions. They have things that bother and annoy them. Similar to you and me, they’ve done things in the past they aren’t particularly proud of, especially when it comes to their careers.

In a hilarious clip posted on YouTube, TobyMac shares some of his opinions. He gives his “hottest take” after being informed what that phrase means and even names what he thinks is the worst song he has ever written.

When asked to give his “hottest take,” which, of course, means an opinion that some may feel is controversial, he goes to the world of fashion.

“When someone has Adidas shoes on and Nike sweatpants, something about it just gets at me,” he said.

He’s also asked about the emoji he uses most frequently. Then, he’s asked to name the worst song he’s ever written in his decade-spanning career.

“It’s got to be ‘I Love Rap Music,’” he said with a laugh.

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”
