Janitor’s Electrifying 'Eye of the Tiger' Performance Wows On America's Got Talent
A school janitor, Richard Goodall, turned in an absolutely electrifying performance of "Eye of the Tiger" on America's Got Talent, wowing the judges and the studio audience.
Television programs like America's Got Talent, The Voice and American Idol continue to be popular, pulling in sizable audiences even though they have been on for years in some cases. Their continued popularity comes down to one reason: people enjoy seeing others succeed. That is especially true when the person in question has been overlooked and seems genuine, honest and modest.
It's easy to cheer for someone who is both highly talented and likable. In the last several years, arguably, no contestant on any of those shows has been more talented and likable than Richard Goodall. He can flat-out sing and appears to be a modest, humble and down-to-earth person.
Richard's latest appearance on America's Got Talent once again blew everyone away with his fantastic performance of the 1980s classic from Survivor, "Eye of the Tiger." Richard absolutely knocks it out of the park. It's such a powerful and excellent performance that the audience keeps cheering long after Richard finishes singing, even while the judges are giving their assessment.
The judges agreed that Richard's performance was stunning and a moment to remember. Heidi Klum described Richard's musical performance as "epic."
"Richard, are you kidding me right now?" Heidi asked. "I mean, really, are you kidding me right now? Epic performance, epic performance? Honestly, I thought that you could not top what you done last time, but you did it. You topped it!"
Even if Richard does not go on to win this season's competition, something tells me that he is not likely to go back to cleaning up spills and messes in a school. People everywhere are going to want to hear more from this incredibly talented singer and extremely likable guy.
Ephesians 5:19 "Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;"
