You Let Us Grow
Please see the UPDATED YouTube link for the song 'You Let Us Grow', I was encouraged to write this song and now even more encouraged to share this song with you. It is inspired by the Gospel of John Chapter 15, verse 5 I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in me, and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing, and really emphasis how important it is for those in Christ Jesus to learn to grow up and bear the fruits of God and leave the ways of this world behind.
The song lyrics also highlight that it is through God's great love for us as we draw near, that he allows us to grow in spiritual maturity to show as we learn and allow the truth in our lives that we are his true disciples. (John 15: verse 8 "By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be my disciples." ) and as we learn it is only by the grace of God that we are able to grow, because God is the life and gives the growth (1 Corinthians 3; verses 6 & 7 "I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. So, neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth." ).
