Rory Feek Finds Love Again and Performs Beautiful Tune ‘I Do’

Years after his musical partner and wife, Joey Feek, passed away, the incredibly talented singer-songwriter Rory Feek has again found love, and sings about it in the beautiful tune “I Do.”

Losing a loved, especially one as close as a spouse,  is never an easy experience. It’s one of life’s darkest valleys. It’s a period full of immense pain, hurt and heartache. Those who have gone through such a distressing and traumatic event would not wish it on their worst enemies.

In early 2016, Joey passed away after battling cancer for several years, according to The Tennessean. What a horrible situation and a devastating loss for Rory and their daughter Indiana. However, because of Jesus Christ and His love, mercy and grace, there is life after going through something so tragic and painful.

And now, eight years after Joey’s passing, Rory has found love again, capturing the beautiful ceremony in the official music video for his new song, “I Do.”

The video for the lovely and moving song shows the beautiful bride arriving at the ceremony in a horse-drawn carriage and Rory and his bride standing at the altar together in front of friends and family. But at one point during the ceremony, Rory grabs the guitar, surprising his bride by performing the song.

The lyrics are enough to make even the most stoic and unemotional person reach for a tissue to dry their eyes.

“Do I need you?

Do I thank God for you?

Do I want to make you happy your whole life through?

I Do”

The video also captures the moment when Rory and his new bride exchange their vows and say their “I dos.” Several people at the ceremony are spotted wiping their eyes, brushing away the tears as they watch these two make a beautiful, lifelong commitment to one another.

This is sure to be a song that will be played for many weddings for years to come.

Genesis 2:24 “For this cause will a man go away from his father and his mother and be joined to his wife; and they will be one flesh.”
