An adventurous pup snuck out of its house and managed to hitch a ride. Unbeknownst to her, a woman took home an unexpected passenger—one of the cute, furry, four-legged variety. Watch the video to hear how she returned home and later discovered that she had the cutest stowaway.

Everyone loves animals. Even those individuals who don’t currently have a pet of their own still possess a soft spot in their hearts for those critters. Most animals are so unbelievably lovable, loyal and friendly that disliking them is impossible.

However, in addition to being lovebugs who constantly want and need attention, they are unpredictable creatures. Many animals are strong-willed, and even though you may tell them not to do something a hundred times, the chances are good they will do what they want regardless of your previous instructions.

A short clip posted on YouTube shows that one animal’s unpredictable nature included sneaking outside and finding its way into an unfamiliar vehicle. The woman in the video explains that on her way home, approximately halfway through her hour-long drive, she received an unexpected text message from her mother-in-law.

Her mother-in-law was inquiring as to the whereabouts of her chocolate lab. Could the dog have climbed aboard her vehicle? No way that happened, the woman thought and responded. She would know if her vehicle contained an extra passenger, especially if that passenger was a dog, right?

When she went to check, much to her amazement, she did find the missing dog. Finn, a chocolate lab, had indeed made his way into her vehicle and was now at her house.
But, as she explains, the animal’s unexpected stay would not last too long.

“He’s at my house until Wednesday now,” she says while down near her sweet and unexpected passenger and visitor.
