Comedian’s Side-Splitting Act Wins Simon Cowell’s Golden Buzzer

A comedian’s side-splitting act wins Simon Cowell’s Golden Buzzer. One guy’s rib-tickling stand-up routine was more than enough to capture the highly coveted designation on Britain’s Got Talent. Watch the short clip to hear the funnyman’s unique, witty, hilarious material that earned him the Golden Buzzer from Simon.

Typically, when someone thinks about American Idol, The Voice, America’s Got Talent, and its British counterpart, Britain’s Got Talent, most people automatically think of musicians. There’s a very good reason why that is the case. Most of the people who appear on those programs are aspiring singers. American Idol and The Voice are shows that are only for musicians. Those with any other talents will have to try their luck on some other program.

Personally, I think America’s Got Talent and Britain’s Got Talent are better and more interesting shows for that reason. There are many more talents in the world than just singing into a microphone and playing an instrument. Give the other gifted and skilled people a shot and a chance, right?

A clip posted on YouTube features an incredibly talented individual who is not a singer. Instead, Axel Blake is a comedian, and a hilarious one at that. He kept the entire studio audience and all four judges laughing throughout his two- to three-minute act. He touched on everyday issues, specifically the joys and, more often than not, the horrors of using public transportation.

However, before his routine, Axel confessed to the judges that his 12-year-old son was the reason he decided to try out for BGT. He wanted to show the young man that anything is possible if you work hard and put your mind to it.

Judging by everyone’s reaction, including the judges, Axel was correct. Simon loved Axel’s deliriously funny routine so much that he rewarded him with his Golden Buzzer.

What a powerful, awesome and also pretty funny moment!

Job 8:21 “The time will come when your mouth will be full of laughing, and cries of joy will come from your lips.”
