Anne Wilson’s stunning ‘Rain in the Rearview’ live performance captivates audiences, drawing them into the heart of her journey through grief and healing. On June 7, 2017, the world shifted for Anne as she faced the unfathomable loss of her brother, Jacob, who tragically passed away in a car crash at the tender age of 23. This day marked the beginning of a heart-wrenching journey. But it was through this journey that she pursued Jesus more than ever. 

It is from this deep well of pain that her powerful song, “Rain in the Rearview,” emerges. It talks about transforming heartbreak into an anthem of learning how to move forward after loss. “This is a song about moving forward; moving forward from grief; moving forward from heartbreak and from pain in our lives,” she said. I think sometimes we get so stuck in the storms we are in, and it can look so hopeless like it's never going to end.” Yet in the midst of her struggles, Anne encourages us to take a step forward and to cling to the hand of the Lord and allow Him to be our guiding light.
