Fantastic A Cappella Rendition of ‘December 1963 (Oh What A Night)’
This song has been added to my playlist, and I have a feeling you’ll love it just as much. It’s a fantastic a cappella rendition of ‘December 1963 (Oh What A Night)’ by Jared Halley. You can’t help but start dancing in your seat as he begins singing the song's first few notes.
When Jared Halley takes on a song, he doesn’t worry about instruments like adding a guitar or piano. Instead, it’s him and several versions of him singing. In this case, there are 16 recordings carefully laid over each other to create a chorus-like feel to the song. What I love even more is how he gave us an inside view of how much fun he has when he creates songs like this. In several of the screenshots, you’ll find him dancing, being silly, and snapping his fingers to the beat.
‘Oh, what a night
Late December back in sixty-three
What a very special time for me
As I remember, what a night’
His fans couldn’t help but leave a few hundred comments. One viewer wrote, “Oh what a video. You look quite the man in your tuxedo. Thank you, Jared, for entertaining us with your voice and videos.” Another added “I so so much enjoyed this video because the production value was so outstanding. The singing was phenomenal, the harmonies and the orchestration of it all are just absolutely amazing. I want to see more of this genius at work.”
The rest of his fans raved that this performance was one of their absolute favorites of all time.
Of course, we can’t help but remember this song was released almost 61 years ago. And to this day, we can’t help but groove and have fun when the song blasts from our radio. It was originally written and performed by The Four Seasons and included on the group’s album Who Loves You. We hope you enjoy this rendition of "Oh, What a Night," as it truly stands out as one of the best versions of the song yet.
Psalm 100:1-2 "Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing!"
