Woman’s Faith in God’s Will Leads to Life-Saving Transplant and True Love

One woman’s faith in God’s will leads to a life-saving transplant and true love. Jennifer badly needed a lung transplant, and doctors were not giving her much hope of finding a match. But God came through and provided her with a match and much more.

Good health is indeed a blessing. Sadly, it’s also one that many of us too often take for granted. We go about our lives believing we’ll remain in good health for the foreseeable future. Unfortunately, health challenges and difficulties can spring up out of nowhere.

Jennifer knows all too well what it means to face health difficulties. She was born with a condition impacting her lungs. Eventually, after 30 years, Jennifer was at the point where she badly needed a double lung transplant. If she did not get the surgery, she would die. One doctor did not give her much hope, telling her she believed Jennifer would die waiting for a match.

As Jennifer explains in the clip posted on YouTube, she refused to pray for a match because she knew that meant someone’s life would have to end. Instead, she states that she put her faith and trust in God’s will.

And like He so often does, the Lord came through in a big way!

Seven days after the doctor’s horrible message, Jennifer learned there was a match. Jennifer would get her life-saving surgery. She would undergo that double-lung transplant. But God wasn’t done working in Jennifer’s life.

Jennifer and Travis, the brother of the woman whose lungs Jennifer received, began chatting on Facebook. This eventually blossomed into a real, actual friendship and eventually marriage.

“And although it took me 40 years to find him, if it wasn’t for Jill checking that box and become an organ donor, and saving my life, I would not have had the gift of life and, most importantly, the gift of love,” Jennifer said.

Jeremiah 32:27 “See, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there anything so hard that I am unable to do it?”
