A little boy had an absolutely priceless response to his dad’s singing performance. The young man reacted utterly, but maybe too bluntly and honestly. But it was still pretty hysterical, making it a video you’ll want to watch repeatedly.

Children, especially young children, can get upset relatively quickly. Parents are well aware of this fact. When youngsters become agitated or bothered by something, parents employ a variety of tactics to soothe and comfort them. One of the most common ways of doing this is by singing a recognizable tune to them.

In addition to becoming easily agitated and bothered, children are extremely honest. They have not developed this filter between their thoughts and the words that come from their mouths. Ask a child if you want a frank, truthful opinion on something. But be prepared for what could follow. Those youngsters are likely to give you an answer without any regard for your feelings.

A clip posted on YouTube captures and displays a child's honesty. It’s a hilarious moment and was likely a pretty humbling one for the little guy’s father.

In the video, the dad holds his young son. It appears that the young man had gotten upset for whatever reason, and his parents are now attempting to comfort and calm him down. A woman, likely the boy’s mother, starts singing, “You are My Sunshine.” She has been immensely blessed in the musical department. Her singing voice is beautiful and soothing.

But then, seconds later, Dad joins in and makes it a duet performance. The father can only get two words out before the young man raises and looks his father in the face. The little guy has heard enough singing from his father and simply says, “No.”

Mom and Dad can’t help but laugh at their little one’s critique of the singing performance.
