Comedian’s Hilarious Gym Class Stories Will Leave You in Stitches

A comedian’s hilarious gym class stories will leave you in stitches. Jonnie W. recalls some of his less-than-stellar but still hysterical experiences in gym class as a child. Some of his laugh-out-loud anecdotes may even remind you of some of your own memories of and experiences in gym class.

School can be and often is a very challenging time for most children. Not every subject will click and come naturally for every child. Understanding and grasping the material may take extra time and study to comprehend it fully. This is entirely understandable and makes perfect sense. God makes individuals, not replicas; no two people are 100% alike.

Not only can school be burdensome and a hardship because of the classes and schoolwork, but many kids also experience awkward phases while growing up. Children are constantly growing, often at different rates, so some physically cannot do the same things as others. This can make gym class a nightmare for children who have yet to hit a growth spurt.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Jonnie W. remembers gym class in middle school. He did not have the best time. However, he has used those embarrassing memories for good by incorporating them into his stand-up act. This is a clip that you will not want to miss. It will have you doubled over in laughter.

“I remember middle school was no good,” he said. “I was a little chubby kid; I had asthma, you know? I liked the asthma, though. It got me out of gym class.”

But then, when he reached high school, specifically ninth grade, things changed. Asthma did not get him out of participating in gym class. He remembers running in class, doing something called suicides.

“He made me run what’s called suicides. You guys know what that is?” he asked. “It’s like a horrifying series of wind sprints – suicides. I don’t know who named that, but let me tell you something: if you make a little fat kid run back and forth until he dies, that is homicide. That is not, they will prosecute you, I’m almost positive.”

Job 8:21 “The time will come when your mouth will be full of laughing, and cries of joy will come from your lips.”
