CeCe Winans and Roman Collins Heavenly 'Goodness Of God' American Idol Performance

Watch CeCe Winans and Roman Collins sing a heavenly rendition of ‘Goodness of God’ at the American Idol Grand Finale.

‘I love You, Lord, oh Your mercy never failed me

All my days, I've been held in Your hands

From the moment that I wake up until I lay my head

Oh, I will sing of the goodness of God’

What an incredible duet! CeCe Winans starts off the song, and then Roman Collins, alongside the other vocalists in the choir, sings the second verse. Then everyone joins together for the chorus, and it sounds remarkable!

As the performance is going on, you can hear the crowd cheering with the music. The camera also shows Fantasia Barrino, a former American Idol, praising along to the song. Katy Perry is even tearing up during the performance. And it is clear to see that Roman Collins is feeling the Holy Spirit move up on stage as he proclaims the truth that he is singing for everyone to hear! What an amazing and heartfelt performance!

“We are living in a time where this is desperately needed. Thank you, American Idol, for allowing God to shine on your stage,” comments one person on YouTube after watching the video.

“There is no voice on earth like CeCe’s,” another person writes online. “I can hear the angels sing through her.”

It is wonderful to see ‘Goodness of God’ being performed on such a big stage for the world to see. CeCe Winans and Roman Collins were wonderful, and how amazing it is to watch them use their talents to bring glory to our Heavenly Father. We really hope that you enjoyed watching their rendition of this beautiful song today!
