Young Dancers' Routine Stirs Emotions, Garnering Ovation and Tears on BGT
Prepare to be moved by this amazing performance. These young boys will inspire you. They call themselves the “Five Star Boys.” Their ages range from 10-12 years old. These young dancers' routine stirs emotions, garnering ovation and tears on BGT.
These boys are honest that they are nervous and excited to be there. They share that they want to get the word out that boys can like to dance too and even though they might be bullied, they do not have to let that get them discouraged. The judges and audience cheer. They say that they would go to Disneyland if they won and give some money to those in need.
As the boys in khaki shorts and blue and white shirts begin this moving routine, they perform so gracefully and flawlessly. Their leaps and movements are smooth and impressive. They are dancing to ‘You Will Be Found’ from a broadway musical which was later recorded from a Christian perspective by Natalie Grant and Cory Asbury.
As you watch this performance from a Christian lens, think about how God has created boys and girls with many talents, and dancing is one of them. These boys are gifted by their Creator to express their creativity through movement. As we watch them and witness such talent and zeal, it inspires and lifts our spirits. They have unique moments in motion together and separately. These boys never lose your attention with their performance. They captivate and do unexpected acrobatics. At the end of the performance, the one boy who does not have a jacket is given a matching jacket by the other 4 boys, and they shake his hand and welcome him. This performance is about acceptance.
At the end of the audition, some of the boys are seen in tears over the positive reactions from the judges and the audience. It is emotional. The judges rave about their performance and tell them to be proud of themselves. They say that their parents must be so proud. At the end of the audition, the boys receive all four yeses and are celebrated.
Watching this reminds us that God is glorified in our talents, and we can glorify Him even by witnessing the ways that others shine.
“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10
