It is always fun to see a good musical. In this video, Ronald Dahl's Matilda The Musical is coming soon to Netflix.

At the beginning of this powerful trailer, an evil woman says, “This school is full of rebels.” All of the kids run frantically to get into their positions, but one young girl does not get there in time and is called out by the headmistress. 

She asks what the girl's name is and then we see clips of action and adventure with Matilda and her friends. She is adorable. She responds, “Matilda Wormwood.”

The kids are all singing and dancing skillfully. There are humorous moments of a boy eating chocolate cake. There are over-the-top fancy people dressed in outrageous clothing. You hear Matilda get called out in a classroom. The harsh woman named The Trunchbull tells Matilda that she is a criminal and she needs a lesson. 

Matilda takes place in an unhappy boarding school. We see the headmistress as a bully and Matilda as a growing student who is in a difficult situation. Watching the trailer makes us have compassion for her. We know that she is often spoken to and treated harshly. It reminds us of our own trials and difficulties in life. 

God knows everything that we go through. Even when we feel constantly called out or bullied, He cares for us and is walking with us in the mess. He loves us so much and wants the best for us. As we watch this trailer, it reminds us that there might be hard times we go through, but we can come through the trials stronger with the help of the Lord.
