Award-winning singer and songwriter Bill Gaither wrote this classic gospel tune back in 1963. The powerful words remind us all that there is hope in the arms of the Lord.

“Shackled by a heavy burden
'Neath a load of guilt and shame
Then the hand of Jesus touched me
And now I am no longer the same.”

Harris Creek Bluegrass is a group hailing from North Carolina. It is currently comprised of Gary Wilson on banjo, Eric Strange on guitar, Billy Marshburn on bass, and Tommy Simmons Jr. on the mandolin.

Today, this talented group is giving all the glory to God with a beautiful rendition of ‘He Touched Me.’

Just listen as they belt out these lyrics that we all know and love.

“He touched, oh, He touched me
And oh the joy that floods my soul!
Something happened, and now I know
He touched me, and made me whole.”

This hymn is always a favorite to hear in church or during worship concerts. The heartfelt lyrics remind us that God is always by our side and He gives us the strength to carry through each and every day.

What a blessing it is to hear these four men lead us in worship and give joyful praise to His Holy Name.

Hebrews 6:19 “Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters into that within the veil.”
