Adorable Toddler Starts Each Day With Positive Affirmations
The precious little girl says in her developing voice, “I say to myself, you’re bold!” “You are brilliant!” “You are beautiful!”
She goes on to share, “You will not let other people’s words affect you. You are worthy of greatness. I love you.” As she finishes her pep talk, she holds up a heart shape with her hands and smiles.
These words are received so well from this young one because she is so inspired and believes what she is saying. It also does not hurt that she is adorable. Wouldn’t it be easy if we all believed this message as quickly as this little toddler presented it?
The enemy throws lies at us on a daily basis and tries to distort our view of ourselves and ultimately our view of God. However, just like this little girl combatted any bad day with her positive phrases, we can take captive every thought to Christ and go to the Bible to remind us of our true identity in Him.
We are children of God, we are told that we are the Lord’s workmanship created in Christ, we are the salt of the earth, and the light of the world, and we are precious and dearly loved.
The Bible tells us we are fearfully and wonderfully made and that we are the apple of God’s eye. Whenever you are having a hard day, you can watch this video of this sweet girl. May it remind you to go to the Lord to remind you who you are in Him.
“We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. And we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience, once your obedience is complete.” 2 Corinthians 10:5-6
