Breakout: Asking the Holy Spirit to Renew Our Minds

It’s easy to get locked into a specific mindset. In fantasy football, we cling to old draft strategies, past stats, and player biases. In life, it’s even easier to fall into the same trap—holding onto old habits, old perspectives, or letting a constantly shifting culture dictate how we think and act.

But as followers of Jesus, a changing world shouldn't cause us to drift. Instead, it’s an invitation to let the Holy Spirit do a deep work inside us.

In this episode, Bryce and Trip unpack what it truly means to live out Ephesians 4:23, which calls us "to be made new in the attitude of your minds." True spiritual growth requires a willingness to say, "Lord, where do I need to change my mind?" It means trading our old way of thinking for a perspective rooted in the Gospel.

📋 Challenge for the Week:

Let's stop relying on our old default mindsets. This week, let's ask God for the discernment to know when to adapt, the humility to change our hearts and minds, and the strength to stand firm on His unchanging Word.

Matthew 4:17 (AMP): "Repent [change your inner self—your old way of thinking, regret past sins, live your life in a way that proves repentance; seek God’s purpose for your life], for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."
