Comedians Hilariously Explain How This Grocery Store Tactic is a Scam

These comedians hilariously explained how this grocery store tactic is a scam. It’s something we have all seen but likely haven’t given much or even a second thought. Watch the short but hysterical clip to hear what grocery stores are doing that isn’t exactly helping the food, but may actually be hurting it.

Shopping, as I’ve said many times before, is easily one of the worst activities that human beings take part in on a regular basis. Yes, I understand that it must be done. It’s just another task in that long list of responsibilities and obligations that comes with being an adult. But that doesn’t make it any more enjoyable, that is for sure.

While shopping, we can all agree, is horrible, sadly, it gets even worse. Grocery store shopping is on a whole other level of terrible. With the crazy, incomprehensible way stores are laid out and the rude, inconsiderate behavior of your fellow shoppers, there is just so much time wasted shopping for groceries. Why does it never fail that whenever you need something, someone is standing right in front of it, reading the back of a box of cake mix like it’s a treasure map?

Now, in a clip posted on YouTube, a couple of comedians – Aaron Weber and Dusty Slay – discuss what they describe as a scam that grocery stores have been running on customers for decades. It all has to do with the produce section, specifically the misters and the oddly placed and angled mirrors.

According to the guys, the misters do nothing for the food. Instead, they are merely cosmetic and may actually be causing the food to mold more quickly. It’s all a trick to get you to buy more greens, and as Dusty hysterically adds, those mirrors, if you look at them at the right angle, will probably get you to pick up more veggies, too.

Job 8:21 “The time will come when your mouth will be full of laughing, and cries of joy will come from your lips.”
