A pup lent a helping paw to its buddy during a hairy situation. One dog believed there was trouble brewing and did what it thought best to help its friend. Watch the short but hysterical clip to see what had one of the pups so concerned and what it did to try to correct the situation.

As every pet owner understands, animals need to be groomed. While it is necessary, that is rarely, if ever, a fun process for the animal or its owner, but it has to be done regardless. No one wants a smelly dog or one with a tangled, matted coat, because that is not an enjoyable situation for anyone. Therefore, the periodic grooming sessions will continue.

Typically, when a dog, and many cats, for that matter, are brushed, hair will accumulate either on the brush or the floor. Of course, every pet owner knows this is normal; brushing is nothing more than a way to pull away loose hairs and keep the animal’s coat clean and healthy.

But what might that look like from the animal’s point of view? Would they freak out and wonder if they may be balding? How would they attempt to correct their perceived hair loss? I don’t think there’s Rogaine for animals, so they would have to look for other solutions. A clip posted on YouTube shows a buddy helping its fellow canine, who obviously thought its friend was balding.

The pup comes across its buddy being brushed and is immediately intrigued. That’s when the dog spots all of its pal’s hair falling to the floor. Surely, this isn’t normal, the dog must be thinking. That’s when the dog comes up with a solution, albeit a very unconventional and impractical one, but a solution, nonetheless.

The dog with hair tapped to itself to hide its shedding looks about as natural and normal as someone who undergoes a hair transplant to cover their hair loss.
