Toddler’s Sweet and Startling Discovery Has Everyone Smiling

A toddler’s sweet and startling discovery has everyone smiling. The little girl came across something that likely totally rocked her small world. It might have even changed how she views the world, which she is no doubt still learning about. Watch the short but adorable clip to see what this child learned and encountered.
Children, especially toddlers, love to go exploring. They are experiencing what is to them an entirely new world, and they want to see everything this new place has to offer. Every parent knows this stage of a child’s development well, as toddlers tend to get into everything and make an absolute mess of, well, everything they encounter.
But despite all the messes, those children are still learning. With every step and move, they experience something new, most of which they will immediately attempt to put in their mouths. I assume tasting everything is part of the learning and discovery process. What else could possibly explain a youngster’s need to place this, that and everything in between in their mouth?
Nevertheless, this toddler stage can and often does make for some truly sweet and heartwarming moments. A posted clip captured one of these instances. The video is of a child standing in the backyard, her back to the camera. In her arms, she tightly clutches a stuffed animal, a duck, to be specific. But then something happens that makes this moment sure to bring a tear or two to your eyes, thanks to the incredible amount of cuteness.
Soon after the video begins, two ducks approach the little girl. They seemingly have no fear of her because they walk up to her without giving it a second thought. The child, now seeing the two ducks who look exactly like the one in her hands, points toward the real ducks and seems to say “duck.”
To her great surprise, she discovered that her toy is modeled after a real, actual thing that exists in the world.
Genesis 1:21 “And God created great whales, and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.”
