Teacher's Joke About Leaves Is Tree-mendously Funny

This teacher’s joke about leaves is tree-mendously funny. The clever and eye-rolling joke she tells her class will have you rolling with laughter. Watch the short but hysterical clip to hear why this educator’s witty one-liner – and the students’ hysterical attempts at the punchline – will keep you laughing long after the clip ends.

It never hurts to have more humor in your life. Humor can make a bad day better and can add to an already great day. Seriously, who doesn’t want more reasons to laugh and smile? Is there anyone who would say, no, that they’d prefer to laugh less? I surely hope not because that would be one miserable person.

While society may not reach consensus on anything, we can all agree that having more reasons to laugh is always a good thing. It should be a requirement that everyone should hear a joke or two a day. Who would or could possibly argue against that? I think we can all agree that that would do better than just about anything else that lawmakers in Washington, DC could do. But given their abysmal and embarrassing track record, they probably wouldn’t be able to get it passed.

Anyway, a clip posted on YouTube features a teacher telling her students a joke about leaves, and their favorite track subject in school. As she always does, the teacher gives the youngsters the setup and then allows them to guess the punchline. Also, as usual, the guesses are absolutely hilarious and incredibly clever.

Some of the standout, laugh-out-loud guesses from the students include one student who simply says “math” when called upon. The student has no reason for their response, making it even funnier. Another youngster, who, after raising his hand, has completely forgotten the joke, asks the teacher to repeat it. Others are good as well, but those are the two that will have you as much or maybe even more than the actual punchline.

Many students come close to the punchline, but don’t quite get there. In the end, you might actually be able to guess the punchline before the teacher says it.
