Cat Steals the Show with Unexpected Appearance During a Play

A cat stole the show with an unexpected appearance during a play. The feline apparently saw an opportunity to get some attention, to spend some time in the spotlight, and seized it. Watch the short but hilarious clip to see what the scene-stealing cat did that will have you cracking up.

As most people know, animals have a mind of their own. Most of them will do what they want when they want. While this is true in many cases, as with everything in life, there are exceptions to the rule. Some of our animal friends, like dogs, have much more pliable wills than others. Tempt a dog with a treat, a walk or even a few scratches on the head, and you can probably get them to do just about anything.  

But there are other animals whose wills cannot and will not be changed or influenced. Of course, every pet owner knows that I’m speaking of cats. Felines are, without a doubt, the strongest-willed, most hard-headed beings on God’s green Earth. No amount of begging or pleading is going to get a cat to do what it does not want to do.

When a cat wants attention, they want it now and will find a way to get it. In a clip posted on YouTube, one feline found an unusual and hysterical way to get that much-desired attention. It decided that it was going to walk out onto the stage during a production of “Romeo & Juliet.”

The video shows the attention-seeking, show-stealing critter on stage as it pulls and tugs on the hair of the actor who is playing Romeo. At one point, instead of simply walking off the stage, the cat literally lies down, sitting next to Romeo.

That’s just a cat being a cat. Anyone who has ever had one is not surprised and understands that this is something a feline would absolutely do.
