Every Parent Will Relate to This Dad’s Hilarious Vegetable-Eating Strategies

Every parent will relate to this dad’s hilarious vegetable-eating strategies. He is fighting the good fight, but, as nearly every parent knows, it is often a losing battle. Watch the short but hysterical clip to see this father’s methods for getting his toddler to eat her vegetables.

Many children are incredibly picky eaters, flat-out refusing to eat certain foods for a variety of reasons. They don’t want this, or they don’t want that, and they are generally not shy about letting you know, loudly, how they feel. But when it comes to feeding a youngster as a parent, the most frustrating part is how they will be super into a food one day and want nothing to do with it the next.

Another massive struggle regarding feeding a little one is vegetables. Children, typically, want nothing to do with those things and will do everything in their power to keep them from entering their mouths. Despite their objections, children have to eat vegetables. So, parents often have to get creative as to how veggies are presented and offered to the youngster.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a father shows the many methods he has “perfected” to get his toddler to eat vegetables. One by one, he goes through each approach, which he has named and then proceeds to demonstrate it.

Hilariously, nearly every approach of his fails. The child is strong-willed and refuses to give in, ever allowing those vegetables to enter her mouth. Every parent has been there and done that many times before and understands the struggle.

To add even more hilarity, the toddler does eventually take a bite or two of the broccoli before her, but it’s by her choosing, and nothing that her father does. She simply picks it up and starts eating it. That’s a child for you, though.

Proverbs 22:6 “If a child is trained up in the right way, even when he is old, he will not be turned away from it.”
