Australian Christian Artist LILLI Opens Up About Faith, Music & Debut Album ‘Anthropology’

Australian Christian singer-songwriter LILLI Fulwood joins GodTube Music’s Brandon Woolum in Nashville to talk about her debut full-length album, Anthropology.

LILLI shares how the 12-song project explores the experiences, questions and emotions that come with being human, while showcasing a wide range of sounds—from alternative pop and acoustic influences to rock and cinematic, symphonic moments.

She also opens up about the faith journey behind her music, including the story of “Biting My Tongue,” a song born from wrestling with what it means to share Jesus with others while also knowing when to simply love people and let your life speak. LILLI also discusses the deeply personal “O Philosopher,” earning her Bachelor of Music, creating a limited-edition vinyl release, and the current state of Christian music in Australia.

Plus, LILLI reflects on arriving in Nashville just as news broke of Dolly Parton’s passing and the influence Dolly’s authenticity and legacy had even thousands of miles away in Australia.
