Animals are, without a doubt, some of the best creatures on Earth. Who would or could ever argue otherwise? They are cute, furry, loyal companions who often remember the kindness shown to them. 

While we can all agree that animals are wonderful and make life a better, richer and fuller experience in every way, they can also be incredibly quirky and funny. Whenever you think you know how an animal will respond to any given situation, they’ll surprise you. Oftentimes, those reactions will be absolutely hysterical, providing everyone in the vicinity with quite the laugh.

That is precisely what happened in a video posted on social media. In the short, five-second clip, the pup is standing on the couch, watching television, as all dogs are known to do.

However, this pup is apparently thoroughly engrossed in the television program. It’s unclear exactly what television show or movie is playing, but on the television, a young man holds a football. He then proceeds to wind up to throw the football and makes a motion as if he’s going to let it go.

Well, the dog, apparently believing the young man was actually in the room, turns its head, looking for the football. It then quickly turns back to the camera, looking terribly confused and possibly even a little disappointed that it did not see the football soaring through the room.
