She Gets Hilarious Marriage Advice from Unexpected Source
She received hilarious marriage advice from an unexpected source. Who knew this kind of department was available to dispense words of wisdom and help during marital disagreements? Watch the short but hysterical clip to see where and to whom this woman turned when she was looking for answers.
Relationships are not easy. They are often challenging and tricky to navigate, with no two problems, disagreements or spats exactly the same. Sure, some may have a few similarities here and there, but each relationship issue and problem will have its own unique twist, and that’s what can make it so hard to know how to maneuver and proceed. That is especially true when problems arise in a marriage.
Anyone who says that marriage is this constant, everlasting state of bliss and happiness is either fooling themselves, incredibly naïve or isn’t married. Problems and disagreements will come from time to time in a marriage. It’s human nature to disagree; completely agreeing with someone 100 percent of the time, even a spouse, is not a possibility. But thankfully, when these issues do arise, there are many sources we can turn to for help and guidance.
As a clip posted on YouTube imagines, what would it be like if we could simply call a toll-free helpline and ask for help? What would happen if there were a human resource department dedicated solely to marriage? I’m guessing people would probably try it out. Whether it would work or not is an entirely different story.
“Look, he keeps sighing real loud and says nothing’s wrong,” the woman recalled to her marriage HR representative. “It feels emotionally hostile.”
“Ma’am, have you tried turning him off and turning him back on again?” the HR representative asks.
“He claims he don’t know how to fix the dishwasher, but somehow he always knows how to fix his bass boat,” she adds later.
“That does sound frustrating,” the woman on the other end of the line responds. “Please allow five to seven business days for him to realize he was wrong.”
Genesis 2:24 “For this cause will a man go away from his father and his mother and be joined to his wife; and they will be one flesh.”
