This Mother’s Hilarious Math Homework Remarks Are Too Relatable
This mother’s hilarious math homework remarks are too relatable. She had plenty of say while helping her youngster complete their math homework. Watch the short but hysterical clip to hear what this mom had to say while trying to provide assistance with homework.
All parents are well acquainted with homework. There is no mother or father who has a burning desire to help a child with their schoolwork. It’s an activity that no one, especially a parent, wants to do. But helping with homework is one of the many responsibilities and obligations that come with becoming a parent. Parents want their children to succeed and do their best, so begrudgingly helping with homework it is.
Of course, one of the big reasons parents dread helping with homework is that schools have changed the way they teach certain subjects since they were kids. That is especially true when it comes to math. Is there any worse subject than math? Not at all. Now, add (pun intended) the fact that many schools teach kids to tackle problems in a much different way from when the mother or father was in school, and you’ve got a perfect recipe for a ton of frustration and a gigantic headache.
In a clip posted on YouTube, a mother shared some hysterical, witty sayings and responses as she tried to help her child complete their math homework. As could have been predicted, things go from bad to worse fairly quickly, and every parent can empathize with and completely relate to her situation.
“Oh, your teacher said, do it this way?” the mother asked. “Well, your teacher ain’t sitting at the table right now. Is she?”
That’s a question every parent has asked while trying to help with homework, math, or otherwise.
“Don’t ask me what decomposing a number means,” she said. “That sounds illegal.”
“Why are we telling a whole story about apples?” she asked out of frustration. “Just count them.”
These are only a few of the many hilarious and relatable comments she makes in the video.
Proverbs 18:15 “The heart of the man of good sense gets knowledge; the ear of the wise is searching for knowledge.”
