The Hilarious Difference Between Elementary and High School Teachers

There is a big and pretty hilarious difference between elementary and high school teachers. The kind of person who would succeed in educating youngsters in elementary school is worlds apart from the individual who would excel in teaching high schoolers, in both temperament and teaching style. Watch the short but hysterical clip to see how these kinds of teachers, these people, are dramatically different from each other.

Teaching is an incredibly important profession. Sadly, though, despite its importance, teaching often gets overlooked, overshadowed by other careers that get more attention. Also, for one reason or another, those in elected office will denigrate teachers and the teaching profession as a whole.

Despite these unfortunate trends, teachers are still vital. Those men and women in the classroom touch and impact the lives of young people every day. They are literally molding and shaping tomorrow’s generation with their every lesson, word and action. Students, even those who may not appear to be, are listening and paying attention. They are watching that educator’s actions and listening to their words, which could have a monumental impact on that student’s life.

However, not every person is equipped to teach every grade. It takes one kind of person to reach small children, and another to educate teenagers. A clip posted on YouTube makes this abundantly clear, and the woman in the video also seems to favor one group of students over another. I let you come to your own conclusion as to which one she might prefer.

In nearly every scenario, the woman is overly excited and energetic when addressing the elementary students, but when she is talking to the high school students, that energy and excitement are, well, lacking.

“Alright, I hope you’re ready because starting tomorrow, we are going to have a Thanksgiving wonderland in,” the woman tells her elementary students.

“You think I’m coming in here on the weekends to put turkeys on the wall or something?” she asked her high school students. “I changed the calendar.”

That is just one of the handful of hilarious examples of how teaching elementary and high school students is not exactly the same.

James 3:1 “Do not all be teachers, my brothers, because we teachers will be judged more harshly than others.”
