This Woman Shows What Happens After the Sermon
This woman shows what happens after the sermon. She demonstrates how people act and respond when the message from the pulpit feels a little bit too personal and on the nose. Watch the short but hysterical clip to hear what congregants are likely to say immediately following Sunday’s message.
I have no doubt that being a pastor would be an incredibly difficult job. Yes, this is a very important position, but it comes with many responsibilities and obligations. They are responsible for keeping the church up and running. This is already a challenging task, but it becomes even more difficult when considering that, especially at small churches, they are often the only full-time employee.
Many pastors also spent time visiting and ministering to people in hospitals and nursing homes, as well as comforting people who had recently lost a loved one. Oh, and they also deliver a message on Sundays, which they must find time to study for and prepare during their busy week. Additionally, the sermon must be relevant and applicable to congregants’ lives, but not too specific, or people in the church might get offended and hurt. And we couldn’t have that, right?
In a clip posted on YouTube, a woman shows what happens and how congregants talk when the pastor’s sermon touches a nerve and hits a little too close to home. They begin asking questions and speculating about whom the preacher intended to reach with their message.
“Now, who was pastor talking about when he said some people need to quit entertaining foolishness?” she said. “’Cause he looked right at Randy’s row.”
“The pastor said, ‘What’s done in darkness always comes to light,’ and half the church looked at the same couple,” she added.
“The sermon was so specific, I started wondering if pastor got access to Ring cameras,” she mentioned.
These are only a couple of the handful of truly hysterical and relatable comments she makes throughout the short clip.
Matthew 18:20 “For where two or three are assembled in my name, there I am in the midst of them.”
