Wyn Starks Brings Judge To Tears With Original Song For Late Twin Brother
America’s Got Talent keeps bringing us soul-filled moments that remind us life is precious and should be cherished, on top of jaw-dropping performances. The latest includes Wyn Starks, who brought judge Sofia Vergara to tears with an original song for her beloved late twin brother.
Wyn is known for his vintage rendition of rhythm and blues, but this time, he performed an original song to honor his brother Caine’s memory. Though Wyn never explained how or why his brother died, it was obvious from his performance that he misses his twin brother every day. They had more than twenty-five years of making memories together before Caine was called to heaven.
It’s one thing to have a close relationship with a sibling; it’s another level when you’re bonded to a twin. We never know when our time is up. God alone knows how many days we are gifted. While it brings us comfort that God is the author of our lives, it’s a gut-wrenching journey to navigate losing a loved one.
The least we can do is find a way to turn pain into purpose, and that’s precisely what Wyn did as he sang his original song, “Who I am,” to honor his brother. By the time he had finished this incredible performance, Sofia was brought to tears.
She shared that she had lost her brother, too. Wyn’s grief touched her heart in a way that only someone who has navigated the journey of grief understands.
We hope this performance touched your heart and somehow mended your soul in a way only God can. While sorrow may last a lifetime, we know God will wipe away every tear when we see him face to face. Amen!
Revelations 21:4 “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”

A Prayer When a Situation Seems Impossible - Your Daily Prayer - April 24
My wife has recently painted these words on a wall in our house as a reminder to us both: “Mightier than the waves of the sea, is His love for us!” (Inspired by Psalm 93:4). Please remember this. Mightier than the tempest you are facing is His love for you!
