Blindfolded Dancers Earn Howie Mandel’s Golden Buzzer On AGT

Dozens of gifted performers showed off their skills on America’s Got Talent and danced their way to a Golden Buzzer.

Dancing is an art form that requires a massive amount of skill, dedication and time. Like anything else, becoming a good dancer is not achieved overnight or by taking one or two dance classes. It takes years and years of practice and laser focus.

Knowing that dance is already difficult enough, what happens when you add dozens of people to a dance routine? The difficulty level increases dramatically, with the timing and precision necessary for everyone to dance in sync. Ok, now, what happens when all those dancers are blindfolded? That raises the difficulty just a tad bit more, right?

In a clip posted on YouTube, 65 dancers, dressed in black, took the America’s Got Talent stage, settled into place and then promptly placed blindfolds over their eyes.

What happens next is outstanding!

One man stands several feet in front of the blindfolded dancers, leading the group through their impressive routine. While he leads the group, everyone’s eyes are drawn to what is happening behind him.

The 65 dancers move their arms up and down, back and forth completely in sync, never missing a step. Their hand movements are so perfectly coordinated and on time that it appears to be fake at times.

The group has the studio audience thoroughly impressed. Throughout the performance, the audience lets out several collective cheers, showing the dancers their wholehearted approval.

Not only does the audience love their act, but the judges are also won over by what they’ve just witnessed. They showered the group with compliments. At one point, the camera catches several members of the group who have tears in their eyes due to Sofía Vergara and Heidi Klum’s kind words.

Howie Mandel mentions that he was “mesmerized” by the group’s audition. He was so impressed with their performance that he mimicked their arm movements as he moved toward and then slammed the Golden Buzzer.

Psalm 30:11 “You have turned for me my mourning into dancing: you have put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness.”
