Everyone enjoys a compliment, an unprompted kind word, but what one little boy told his mother will instantly melt your heart!

Mom and dad are the first people most children encounter. As such, children quickly develop bonds and relationships with their parents. Like any other relationship, parents spending time with their child, and strengthening these bonds, should always be a priority.

In a video posted on YouTube, one mother has found a unique way to spend time with her oldest child. The video’s description explains the mother’s routine has become that after her youngest child goes to bed, she and her oldest child will work on art projects together.

The description states that the two will “have some time together usually coloring or painting” the mother’s art projects. This time, as the video shows, mom and son were painting a vase when the child articulated his love for his mother.

“You’re the best ever, mom,” the child said while painting.

When the mother returned the sentiment, the child added when exactly he loves his mom.

“I love you all the day of times,” the child said.

Mom responded that she thoroughly enjoyed being his mother. But the child was not done with his sweet words of affection.

“And I love myself, so I can be your kid,” the little boy said.

The video ends with the mother telling the child they have been blessed “with a pretty good life.” The child responds in agreement.
