Daughter's TikTok Videos Help Save Parent's Dying Restaurant

Tiktok may seem like a social media pit for kids, but in God’s hands, it becomes a powerful tool. A daughter’s TikTok videos help save her parents dying restaurant.

Jennifer Le watched as her parents waited day in and day out for a single customer at their family-owned Lee’s Noodle House restaurant. They had been hard-pressed between the California wildfires and the pandemic. Jennifer watched as they cleaned vacant tables and watched the door.

The family visited their grandparents' graves and then prayed, asking God for some kind of intervention. But they never expected it to come from Jennifer’s seven-second TikTok post. She posted she felt sad watching her parents waiting for customers to come into the restaurant.

Second seconds on TikTok was all it took to reach more than a million people online. Customers began to trickle in. When Jennifer told her parents about her post, they were surprised. Then they became grateful. Soon the restaurant was flooded with customers.

It was hard to even get a table, much less find standing room to wait for a take-out order. God is so good. Just when we are at the end of our rope, he intervenes and surprises us in ways we never imagined. May God continue to bless this family, and may they continue to thrive!

“And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work,” 2 Corinthians 9:8.
