Christian Couple Shares Message Of Peace And Prayer With Judge Caprio

One man and woman on a special mission stopped and shared their touching message with a benevolent and caring judge.

The world can be a sad, cruel and dangerous place. People can be unbelievably mean to one another. But then there are times when people can and will surprise with their kindness and love, seeking nothing in return. Judge Frank Caprio, on Caught in Providence, encountered two kind-hearted people in his courtroom.

A man and a woman appeared before Judge Caprio, not because of a ticket or a fine they received, but to share their message of peace and love with him.

A man, originally from Iraq, and a woman, born in Israel, who are now American citizens, stepped up to the microphone and talked about their reason for appearing in the courtroom. The woman began by mentioning how grateful they are to live in the United States and for the freedoms the country allows them.

“We love this country and the freedom I have today, I would never in my country,” she said. “I won’t be able to pray to God and talk to God like I pray to God and talk to God if I didn’t have the chance to come to America and make a life for myself in America.”

She added that because of the freedoms they both enjoy in the United States, they feel compelled to help others.

“And because we want to pay it forward, we love this country so much and what this country gave to us, that we just go around and visit the state, because we are now Americans and we part of this nation, too. And we pray, everywhere we go, we pray for the homeless. We feed the homeless. We pray for people. And we tell people we love this country because it gave us so much. We want to give back,” she said.

She added that they visit sites where devastating and horrific tragedies have happened and pray for the people impacted by those incidents.

The couple's mission and message touched Judge Caprio. Before the clip ends, he had one request for the couple.

“I would ask, at some point after you leave, if you would remember us in your prayers,” he said. “I would really appreciate that, and I promise, we will pray for you as well.”

2 Corinthians 13:11 “Finally, brothers, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, living in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.”
