Grace West Sings Dolly Parton Classic ‘Here You Come Again’ On The Voice - Audition Videos

A contestant on The Voice tried her hand at a beloved song from one legendary musician and entertainer.

Dolly Parton is an icon. She has enjoyed a successful, decades-long career, producing classic hit songs and starring in several memorable films. With her poise, grace and immeasurable talent, Dolly has left her mark on the world of entertainment. 

Grace West, one of the contestants remaining on The Voice, treated the judges, the studio audience and viewers at home to a performance of Dolly’s “Here You Come Again” in the all-important knockouts round of the competition.

Grace, a member of Team Blake, makes singing Dolly’s tune look easy and effortless. Her sound and the tone of her voice combined with the song, make for a perfect match. She sounds fantastic in the clip posted to YouTube.

The young woman never strains her voice or tries too hard during the performance. Instead, she turns in a very professional, pleasant and enjoyable rendition of the song by Dolly.

However, she does use some occasions throughout the song to showcase what her voice can do. She pulls off a couple of impressive vocal runs. The judges notice Grace's vocal moves and techniques. 

At one point, around the 45-second mark in the clip, Blake Shelton turns to Niall Horan after one of those runs and comments, “That’s the real deal, man.” 

Kelly Clarkson, the original American Idol winner, also appears to be enjoying Grace’s performance. She’s wearing a big smile on her face as she sways back and forth while taking in her dazzling and charming presentation. 

The studio audience appreciates Grace’s take on the classic song. They cheer and clap sporadically throughout. At the end of the song, the audience and the judges show Grace their appreciation by giving her a well-deserved and thunderous round of applause.
